Where there’s education, there’s freedom!

Independence Day is an important day in the life of every Indian. Year after year, it reminds us of our great freedom fighters who sacrificed and struggled to free our Motherland from the British rule. The day reminds us of the great paragons which were the foundation of the dream of a free India, envisioned and realized by the founding fathers. The quest for this freedom and basic rights was ignited through EDUCATION.

Education shapes the mind and the nation

To challenge the 200 years under British rule, educated Indians turned “freedom fighters” to guide the countrymen to protest against the ruthless rule of the Britishers. Be it Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Chandra Shekhar Azad or Bhagat Singh, all the heroes who led the surge, were highly educated who brought the light of knowledge and awareness, imparted through education. Education has played a vital role in making India an independent, democratic country. And being inspired by our freedom fighters, we at Linc Pens have always focused our products and energies, to be a vital tool for expressing our rights for freedom.

Freedom through education

Although India has come a long way in terms of its literacy rate post-independence, still, a lot of children are found carrying bricks rather than books or cleaning utensils at a restaurant rather than erasing pencil marks on paper. As we step into the 74th year of India’s independence, Linc would request every Indian to take the ‘Education for All’ initiative to heart.

The Parliament of India had passed the 'Right to Education Act' in the year 2009 through which education has become a fundamental right of children belonging to the age group 6-14 years. There are over a lakh government-aided schools throughout the length and breadth of the country that are providing free education along with midday meals for the children. Alongside the government, Linc Pen & Plastics Ltd has conducted many CSR activities promoting education by distributing stationeries in various suburbs of states like West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, and also the National Capital Territory.

At Linc Pens, our aim is to provide quality school stationery, ballpoint pens, gel pens, retractable pens, pencils and a host of other writing instruments that will help students and professionals express their thoughts freely. Our products are available online at Amazon, Flipkart, Ondesk or at a store near you.
